Joining Forces with Canada!

We were so excited to welcome Prof. Dr. Jean Mitchell, UNESCO Chair Holder in Island Studies and Sustainability from the University of Prince Edward Island, Canada, at the University of Hamburg.

Our meeting focused on the UNESCO Chair ‘Societal Climate Change Research and Resilience’ and our future collaboration plans, particularly regarding Pacific islands and the innovative Living Lab approach. This partnership is vital in the context of Sustainable Development Goal 17, which emphasizes collaboration for achieving shared goals.
