Located at the University of Prince Edward Island, the Institute of Island Studies provides a space where island experiences from around the world can be explored and shared. Researchers, students, policymakers, and community members come together to exchange perspectives on island life, challenges, and opportunities. Through these interactions, stories and experiences from distant shores become visible and accessible to others. The Institute serves as a window through which islands can learn from one another while celebrating their unique identities.
